A Gallery Turned Runway
From the center of Manhattan, Ralph Lauren converted the Jack Shainman Gallery to a sanctuary of style for his Fall 2025 collection. In the opening scene, guests stepped inside to be greeted by golden staircases that shone down on luxuriant oak-white floors and walls in a world of elegance, comfort, and personal expression. And this was not simply a runway but a distillation of Lauren’s long-standing design philosophy: elegant, romantic, and resolutely American.

The Series: Heritage of the Heart
It was Lauren’s latest, articulated with quiet confidence. Floor-length gowns in jewel-toned satins, structured velvet suiting, and layered cashmere knits conjured up an autumn picture steeped in nostalgia and refinement. Every look was for a woman with an understanding of what timeless beauty is all about—she who does not dress to impress but to express.
"I was looking for a sense of warmth and a sense of sophistication,” Lauren said, of feeling. “This is a collection about personal style — about how a woman dresses not just for the world, but for herself.”
Star-Studded Elegance
Celebrities added their star shine to the intimate show. Actress, singer, and fashion muse Ryan Destiny, who was swathed in a smooth, Ralph Lauren, satin, green, floor-length dress and covered with a green leather blazer, caught the camera’s eye. “His clothes say things without even opening their mouths,” she said.
Among the front-row faces were the actress Anne Hathaway, the actress and singer Ariana DeBose, and the fashion muse/model Anoki Yai, and the trendsetter and model Mona Tougaard, who both walked the runway exuding the true essence of Ralph Lauren. When I spoke with the two, they described the show as “an homage to everything that makes fall fashion feel like a warm memory.”
The Last Moment, The Last Impression
The show finished with a gold lamé gown making its way down the staircase to a standing ovation. The applause wasn’t merely for the designs but for the emotion that they inspired. At a time of digital noise and trend chasing, Ralph Lauren provided a moment of pause — a reminder that true style is something that is personal, rooted in heritage, and never goes out of style.
